Eric is the bridge between the three (mostly) straight jocks who live next door to him: Riley, the arrogant surfer; Landon, the dirty-minded wrestler; and now Jesse, the lean-muscled track star. They express their affection and friendship for each other by using and experimenting with Eric's enthusiastically willing body.

But nothing can last forever. Eric's dissertation is done, and now he's seeking a job. And that'll probably take him away from Santa Barbara, away from California, away from his friends – and ultimately far away from the surfing alpha male and all his dirty buddies.

After all, he can't just give up on his dreams of being a professor, just because of some sensual pleasure with a few arrogant alpha males. After all, he doesn't even like the guys.

But he's starting to love them and that might be reason enough to stay.
