My name should have told you everything you needed to know about me. I’d mess you up if you got too close, and if you hurt someone in my club, it would be the last thing you did. No one crossed me, and if they did, it was their last mistake.
She was the nerdy professor who’d helped the club out of some nasty business our former club left us in. I never gave her a second look, until one day, I truly saw her. Paige seemed uptight and standoffish, but I soon found out I was wrong about her.
She was smart, sexy, and hiding some secrets that made me fall for her faster than I wanted. But the professor had someone in her past that thought she owed them a debt, and they’d decided that threatening her was the way to get what they wanted.
All they achieved was uncaging the animal inside me, and now, I was on their scent and looking for blood.
