Cherrywood Court

Adopted as teenagers, William is now a doctor, Diane teaches third grade, River has his own business, and Colt is still finding his way. They call themselves the Hayes Kids, and when Diane is threatened by two brothers who raped her when she was thirteen, the other Hayes kids try to protect her.

William buys a home from a beloved family member. Diane and Colt move in and help him update the nearly hundred-year-old house. River moves into the guest house and they all keep an eye on Diane.

In an attempt to kill her, one of Diane’s rapists runs her off the road and her car flips over. William is working in the emergency room when the paramedics bring her in. She’s badly injured. Knowing she’ll never be safe until her attacker is captured, Diane helps the police draw him into a trap. The plan is brilliant, but it doesn’t turn out the way anyone expects.
