The Baron's Unsuitable Bride

Due to an unfortunate accident, Lord Ashton Lovely becomes Baron of Greybriar. But Ash vows not to return to England, having achieved his dreams as owner of a successful though small railroad company in the Territory of Wyoming, in 1868. After lassoing an orange-haired woman he dubs Rusty, from a rain swollen creek, he offers the destitute woman a job with his railroad.
Having already escaped one bad situation, Ruth Campbell hopes she’s escaped the two aggressive raft owners who tossed her into the creek. She accepts the moniker of Rusty—it's better than being named after her father's most cantankerous mule—and her rescuer’s job offer as cook on his train. Forced to share accommodations, Ash assures Rusty that his butler will defend her honor.
But James is more concerned in returning Ash to England and his rightful place as Baron of Greybriar, and then finding him a suitable English wife.
