Suddenly, a hand grabs his shoulder, and he turns to find a massive man standing behind him.
My fake boyfriend doesn't flinch. Instead, he lifts a hand and calmly says, “Get rid of him for me, Frank.”
Frank nods once, grabs my ex by the back of his jacket, and drags him out of the restaurant like dead weight.
Then my fake boyfriend glances back at me, completely unfazed, and says,
“Now… where were we?”
