Theo has kept our relationship a secret for almost a year. He won’t give me a label or a commitment. All I get are stolen nights at an exclusive club where pleasure is edged with pain and his word is my law. He claims it’s to protect me, but from what?
Since he refuses to tell me, I do what any woman tired of being a secret would I track his phone. And when he suddenly leaves town in the middle of the night, I follow him.
