A Medic's Cure

I didn’t know when it got as bad as it did, but lately, I’d been moving through life for the sake of of not being stuck. Losing the man I loved in a drowning accident could have been the straw that finally broke me, but I met someone who refused to allow me to be broken.
Amare Grady was tall, handsome, and had a heart made of pure gold, but I had no idea why he was determined to save me.
