Presenting at the Unity Summer Solstice Festival was supposed to be an easy peasy cross cultural opportunity to ease into my new position. However, after a series of frustrating surprises, I took some me time—aka, I drank a bit too much, wandered off into the woods of Oklahoma, and am currently lecturing a pile of rocks in the shape of an arrow.
It’s as embarrassing as it sounds.
Life begins to perk up when I stumble upon a little river. There’s even a couple of beavers! And… an otter? In my excitement to take pictures of such an exotic-to-me sight, I radically change my life—and a pack of found family Weres in the process.
Dam Micromanagement, Adorable Paw-Paws, and a Fated Mate thrown halfway into the pond is… yeah. What’s a little PR Disaster, right?
