Under The Mistletoe With Mr. Wrong

Christmas is the time of year where the spirit alone makes you happy. The decorations and music, everything about it puts you in a good mood. For Ginger Joy, that’s exactly how she was feeling until her mother called, and guilt tripped her into coming home for the holidays. Going back to Chicago was the last thing on her list, especially since it was things from her past she didn’t care to face. Unexpectedly, one of those things was coming to dinner. Against her better judgment, she agreed and made her way. Ginger never thought someone else from her past would be seated right on the plane with her, and her prayers for peace slowly went out the window.

Kris North had made it out of the streets. Living the good life, he enjoyed everything except the woman he laid down with every night. Getting a call from his sister to come back home, turned out to be the break he needed from her and everything else going on in his life. However, a blast from his past reminded him that not everyone forgave him for the guy he used to be. Forced to face his demons, Kris realized he was running from more than just old memories. However, that new discovery shook him up, and put him in the position to dig a hole deeper than the one from before.

Two people with the weight of their past weighing heavily on them, must face what happened together, and try to navigate through the hurt. Just as things are looking up, the spirit of messiness showed up and showed out. You know what they say about dinner tables and secrets, they all seem to come spilling out, and when they do, the old hurt seems small compared to the new drama unfolding.
