Regency Desire: A Forbidden Lesbian Regency Romance
Rayne Whitlock
When Lady Isabel Thornton's husband commands her to cultivate Lady Blackwood's friendship for social advantage, he has no idea what he's set in motion.
Lady Sophia Augusta Blackwood, second cousin to King Edmund, renowned markswoman, and London's most dangerous woman, has survived society by playing its games just well enough to avoid marriage. She takes lovers when it suits her and lives by her own rules.
Isabel was supposed to be just another trapped wife seeking intelligent conversation. Instead, she's brilliant, bold, and hungry for everything her marriage has denied her.
And when Sophia kisses her for the first time, Isabel discovers pleasures she never imagined.
What begins as stolen moments becomes something neither woman can control.
But Isabel's husband is building a case.
Society's whispers are growing louder.
And the only path to freedom is the one thing women of their class can never have.
To be together, they'll have to risk scandal, ostracism, and everything they've built.
But some fires burn too hot to be contained.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ READER REVIEWS
"FINALLY. Historical sapphic romance that doesn't fade to black!" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I've been STARVING for high-heat f/f historicals and this delivered. The chemistry is off the charts and the author doesn't shy away from explicit scenes. Perfect balance of heat and heart, Isabel's awakening and Sophia's vulnerability made me ugly cry.
"Better than Bridgerton" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
If you loved Gentleman Jack, you'll devour this. The theater box scene had me fanning myself. Watching these two brilliant women choose to burn it all down rather than give each other up was everything.
"Spicy AND satisfying" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This book DELIVERS. Multiple detailed intimate scenes that are both hot and important to character development. The divorce plot doesn't sugarcoat how brutal it would have been. Romance with substance. 10/10.
"I don't usually read historical romance but WOW" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I'm a contemporary romance girl usually, but this converted me. The tension had me speed-reading. Sophia's arc from emotionally closed-off to vulnerable destroyed me in the best way. The explicit scenes are chef's kiss detailed.
"The representation we deserve" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Finally, a sapphic historical that doesn't fade to black while straight couples get all the steam! This is about two women choosing authenticity over approval. The heat is excellent, the historical details are solid, and I cried at the end.
"Stayed up until 3am to finish" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
"Exactly what I wanted" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
High heat? Check. Compelling characters? Check. Satisfying HEA? Check. The divorce plot shows both legal complexity and social consequences without bogging down the romance. If you like your historicals spicy and your heroines fierce, grab this immediately.
