Numbers don’t lie or make empty promises. That’s one thing Fiona is sure about. Bash is used to issuing orders and having them followed. As the VP of the Reaper’s Guard, he’s got enough on his plate without the trouble his annoying little sister keeps getting into. But when an owl-eyed girl swoops in to rescue her, Bash is taken aback by his reaction to her and the desire to draw her into his life— no matter that they’re from two different worlds.

Bash does things his way, and Fiona is used to taking care of everything herself. As they grow closer, the tension becomes impossible to deny.
