Just once, on my first day in the town, I tried to... umm... unalive a goat, who attacked me first, I'll add, and now everyone looks at me as if I'm some kind of psychopath because the goat turns out to be their town mascot. Go figure.
But then I get sentenced in a real court for my crime. My punishment? I must learn the town's history before they'll accept me as a permanent resident. And my tutor? The freaking county sheriff, who looks at me as if he would rather throw me into the lake than stand next to me.
