Violently in Love: A collection of three Pride and Prejudice Variations
Lory Lilian
For those who have purchased the previous books, this collection brings no new content. All stories contain explicit intimate scenes, and in the last part, there are some references to child abuse (only mentioned for the plotline, not detailed).
No Expectation of Pleasure begins before Jane is invited to dine at Netherfield and falls ill.
Mr Darcy is already smitten with Elizabeth Bennet. Charmed by her pretty eyes and sparkling wit, he discovers that she is handsome enough to tempt him, more so than any other woman before. He is determined to keep his distance from her and he manages to do so even during her stay at Netherfield, as she cares for her sister, Jane.
That is, until one cold, rainy day, three days prior to the Netherfield Ball, when Elizabeth and Darcy are forced to spend some time alone in a cabin in the woods.
With no expectation of pleasure, Elizabeth forces herself to bear the arrogant man’s company with enough civility while he struggles with his own desires and temptations, as well as with her low opinion of him.
The distance from arguments to a better understanding, from pride and prejudice to friendship, towards a “happily ever after”, can be easier and faster to travel when the two of them are trapped together.
Unsent Letters begins in Kent, at Rosings Park and continues in London.
Fitzwilliam Darcy is tormented by an ardent love that he must conceal, as he cannot possibly consider proposing to Miss Elizabeth Bennet.
His feelings for Elizabeth cannot be shared with any living soul, but cannot be repressed either. So what could the gentleman do, in order to keep his sanity? Write several letters to the lady of his heart, letters uncensored, unguarded, as they were not meant to be ever sent or seen by anyone. No names, no address, only pieces of his soul on paper.
After an early, solitary ride, while he mounted to return to Rosings, the book with the pile of letters fell from Darcy’s pocket. Elizabeth - fond of her morning walks, being sure there was nobody around - found them and, with astonishment, shock and disbelief, she read the last one.
Mr. Darcy’s hasty return made Elizabeth throw the book back into the grass and hide behind the bushes, watching him as he searched for the infamous treasure in utter despair, before finding it and hiding it in his inner pocket then departing at a gallop.
How will that piece of scandalous knowledge change the course of events and how will Elizabeth ever dare to face Mr. Darcy again?
A Blissful Marriage follows the Darcys from their wedding day through the first months of their marriage.
Elizabeth Darcy is witty, lively, happy and very much in love, sheltered under her husband’s ardent love and tender protection. The new Mrs. Darcy is claiming her position in London society, facing both approval and rejection with equal strength and confidence.
Fitzwilliam Darcy, newly married, is less proper than usual. Darcy’s honour and sense of duty induce him to support his wife’s generous involvement in saving innocent lives.
Although lost in their blissful relationship and still yearning for each other as a couple deeply in love, Mr and Mrs Darcy are always attentive to those in need around them and are willing to do everything in their power to provide help and support.
