After being let go from his position as a middle school art teacher due to budget cuts, Howard Foster, a kind-hearted painter who knows he’s been wronged, is desperate to find a job. Advice from a colleague points him in the direction of a position teaching art to adults, but it turns out to be quite a bit more than he bargained for, especially when he meets the single person he’ll be instructing.
Howard and Gianna predictably bump heads when they first meet but, as they work alongside each other to complete the program, they both soon find that there’s more to the other than they originally thought. When unexpected feelings begin to bloom, the pair have to figure out if they’re ready for what those feelings might grow into.
