Angel visits his old friend Lord Burik on a normal visit. While traveling through the woods, he comes upon Lord Burik’s men as they capture a young boy. But this boy wears a dress, and Lord Burik’s men believe him to be a girl. They are capturing slaves to take back to their lord.
Angel decides to save the boy, to spare him the trouble of becoming a slave to Lord Burik. He makes a suggestion to Lord Burik’s men to relieve themselves of this boy. At first, they do not agree but seeing that it’s Lord Burik’s old friend Angel, they eventually give in and hand Angel the boy.
At first, Angel believes this boy to be nothing but a simple boy in Lord Burik’s lands. But as time goes by, he realizes that ancient legends are true as he will soon begin to go through a phase that he thought was never possible for him.
