Just A Little Bond
Skyler Hill
I kept getting arrested for shoplifting. I had to. The blackmailer’s texts were a ticking clock, and I was out of options. Wayne Gammons kept bailing me out. I was just another face in the system, until he noticed my other secret and asked why. I broke down and showed him everything.
He didn’t call the cops. He looked at the evidence, then at me. His calm never flickered. “I’ll handle it,” was all he said.
Now, the man who held my bond holds everything. He erased the threat with a terrifying finality. He says the threat is gone, and I belong to him now. His methods are… absolute. His care is a safehaven built of structure and unbreakable rules. He looks at my arrest record and doesn’t see a criminal. He sees a lost soul who needs to be owned, disciplined, and kept.
The world thinks I’m just another screw-up. Wayne is making sure I’m his.
