Someone is out to get Mr. Darcy, but his cousin, Colonel Fitzwilliam, is not about to let that happen. To that end, and without permission, the colonel takes on Darcy's name, and some of his arrogance, all while employing Mr. Bingley's assistance to hoodwink the entire village of Meryton. The plan to keep the real Mr. Darcy safe works to perfection...until that gentleman arrives.
