Alex had never known true love.

On his fiftieth birthday, he remains alone after many failed relationships. He has struggled with emotional issues since he was young. All Alex wanted was to find someone who loved him deeply—someone who couldn’t imagine life without him despite his flaws.

“You can’t be fifty. My husband looks ten or more years older than you,” she added sharply.

The man frowned, tilting his head downward.

Alex thought he was a very good-looking man.

Alex was in good physical shape at the time, and thanks to family traits, he looked years younger than he was.

The last thing Alex wanted was to get involved with a married man, especially one with a wife like his. But Alex rarely did things that were good for him.
