Adrian Wilkes - an up-and-coming actor living in Los Angeles - finds himself in a little-known strip club, waiting to meet the male escort his best friend has hired for him. Despite his initial doubts, he is instantly captivated by the club's premier dancer, a beautiful young man who goes by the stage name Eros.

After their night together, Adrian and Eros share a slightly awkward breakfast, and Eros departs in a hurry. However, Adrian can't seem to get the young dancer out of his mind. He returns to the club, hoping to sate not only his lust, but his curiosity.

Adrian brings Jamie back to his apartment to stay the night and uses this opportunity to leave an even greater impression on the young dancer's mind. Consequently, he begins to learn the truth of why Jamie hides behind the persona of Eros.

What begins as a pleasant morning after ends poorly, and Adrian does not see or hear from Jamie for nearly a week. He returns to The Evening Star to remedy this, and it is there that he gets a real look at the sorts of things Jamie has been keeping secret.

Jamie's release from the hospital results in yet another less-than-pleasant discussion between him and Adrian. However, with the seed of an idea it plants in Jamie's mind, the Hellish week that follows is enough to at last convince him to take a necessary risk.

Getting Jamie moved into Adrian's apartment is a fairly short and painless process, leaving the couple in high spirits. However, an unexpected and unpleasant phone call ruins all of that, and Adrian must find a way to comfort and protect his new boyfriend.

Realizing they know little about one another, Adrian and Jamie enjoy a lighthearted conversation and some quiet time together, followed by another bit of fun. A night out with friends seems an additional escape from the drama, but trouble is never far behind.

The inevitable finally happens, and the odds are heavily stacked against Adrian as he fights to protect Jamie from men who have been sent to capture him. Can he hold out long enough for help to arrive, or will he fail to keep his promise after all?
