I always have to wait for someone to walk by because we don’t live in the same complex, and my student ID doesn’t work to get me in. Once I was in the elevator, I waited impatiently until I got to his door. I rushed out of the elevator impatiently, before I even knocked, his door swung open and he greeted me with his million dollar smile. It was one of the first things that attracted me to him during freshman orientation, that and his perfect-muscular, athletic build. He was on his high school wrestling team, but he keeps up with his physical health in college. less

The steady beeping and dripping noises drove me out of my slumber. Once I opened my eyes, I was completely disoriented, I had no idea where I was and my body felt like it was being weighed down by cinderblock. I looked down at my body, and it was…almost. My right leg was wrapped up tightly in a cast, as was my left arm and I had a large white bandage covering half my abdomen. It was really hard to get out of bed in the mornings, if I stayed in bed, I could pretend that nothing ever happened, go back to sleep, and meet Dan in my dreams. Too bad life isn’t that easy. Once a week I have an appointment with my OBGYN, as it gets closer and closer to my labor day, the more I am confused about my feelings... moreIt was really hard to get out of bed in the mornings, if I stayed in bed, I could pretend that nothing ever happened, go back to sleep, and meet Dan in my dreams.
