The best I can find are a couple of brazen wolf shifters bent on destroying undead—with total disregard for their own mortality—plus a pretty-boy mage with the worst answers to interview questions in the known world but wicked magic skills. Then there are the houses themselves. And that fox turning our lives upside down. Once our first house starts by breaking all the rules, we have even less time than I thought to figure out how this works. How can I be falling for these guys right when I need focus for the task at hand? Can my team save me from myself?
