Turns out the truth about my father’s death is a lot more nefarious than I ever imagined, and now Andrei—the terrifying, overprotective vampire who will kill for me whether I like it or not—is ready to wipe out the monster’s entire coven in retaliation. So, to sum I’m dodging death, heartbreak, and homicidal politics of the Original Chevalier. But hey, it’s not all bad! I’m still breathing (mostly), I’ve got a great sense of humor, and who knows?
