Peter Ume has problems. Huge, hairy problems with teeth. First of all, his boyfriend is a man-eating werewolf with anger management issues, which is probably why that relationship completely went to hell. He was just fired from Club Brimstone. Winter is coming and Granny Sole is trying to make sure everyone on the Farm, New Gotham’s orphanage for monsters, doesn’t starve. But life sucks, so they’ll probably starve anyways.

And just when things can’t seem to get any better…

Luca comes howling back into his life. And this time, the wolf’s not taking no for an answer. This time this little fox is going to prove himself as a hunter. Or die trying.

Cry Wolf is a retelling of THE BOY WHO CRIED WOLF (NOT Peter and the Wolf). The SECOND book, Cry Wolf: The Hunt, is a retelling of PETER AND THE WOLF. They are two VERY DIFFERENT tales.
