“No. This was different. I saw a girl. She was in the dance, it was the same music that we could hear from outside. She had green eyes and blonde hair. I recognise her from one of your classes. History, I think.”

I thought for a moment. Blonde hair and green eyes. “Ellie Sanders? What about her?” I couldn’t keep the anger out of my voice. Why the hell would he have visions of her? Wasn’t I good enough or pretty enough for him? Unless I had thought about her…no. I hadn’t. I definitely hadn’t been thinking about her and even if I had been, I hadn’t seen her at the dance. So how he could see her as if it was happening then? More importantly, why her? Why not me? Did he like her? Was he tired of me?

“I think she’s a witch.” He opened his eyes to look at me and my mouth dropped open.

“What?” What the hell? “So now, not only vampires but witches are real too? This is like a bad horror movie.”

He said nothing, just nodded and I snapped my lips shut. I laid back down. “Fine then...” I murmured, rubbing my forehead.

Witches. Real. And my boyfriend has to fall in love with one.
