Guardian of the Heart by Sorcha MacMurrough
The ULTIMATE temptation!

Arabella meets handsome Dr. Blake Sanderson amid a coaching accident on the road between London and Bath. Their lives all in peril amid a blizzard, they work together to get everyone in the coach to warmth and safety, growing in intimacy and passion with every passing moment.

Blake and Arabella are stunned at their heated desire for one another, and try to go their separate ways. Arabella was hurrying to Town to meet the new guardian her brother Peter arranged for her prior to his leaving for India: who turns out to be Blake himself!

Arabella is devastated at the news. The only man she has ever ached for seems to view her as little more than an unwelcome burden to be married off to the first suitor he deems appropriate.

Blake is determined to do his duty despite his desperate yearnings for Arabella. But as the most eligible bachelors in London and Bath pursue her, Blake realizes that he has done the one thing forbidden him: fallen passionately in love with Arabella.

As their enemies swarm around the sensual couple to tear them apart, their only safe haven is in each other's arms. Their only joy is the bone-melting passion they share.

Soon Blake is accused of the most dreadful crimes. Will Arabella trust in their love, or think Blake as guilty as the rest of the world appears to? In a race against time, Blake must risk all to uncover the identity of the real criminal and save his beloved before Arabella becomes the next victim.

AN EXCERPT FROM GUARDIAN OF THE HEART:
God, it was so cold. Only a bit further, please. I need to keep them safe, Blake prayed.

To warm himself against the bitter chill, Blake replayed the kiss he had shared with Belle hours before. It had been honey-sweet, and made him forget for a moment even his own terrible past.

He could taste dew, smell freshly mown grass, feel the glorious sunshine upon his face, the warmth penetrating his bones, his soul… A new life.

Spring was the season, flowers, bees, pollen, everything fresh and new, like her skin, her hair….

Unbound, flowing over Blake’s bare body like a river as it cascaded down her shoulders, covering her voluptuous breasts, which peeped through the raven tresses.

It was a stark contrast, the pink, white and black. Belle was cradling his head against her, one nipple sliding unerringly into his mouth to nurture him, fill him with longing….

He could hear the shouts, the sound of running feet, the flinging open of the coach doors. He felt a little hand upon his shoulder, a delicate caress of his face.

“Come, Blake, it’s over now. You’re safe. We’re safe. I’ll look after you.”

"Belle, my love."

Then he was moving, sliding downwards, stumbling, his arms around her shoulders…

Her bare shoulders, so creamy and soft, her slender throat.

He kissed them all, then her rosy lips as his legs moved over hers. He moved inside the warm circle of her arms, her body, and the sun blazed anew in all its glory, blinding him with its brilliance as she shimmered all around him, hot, wet, loving, a taste of heaven on earth as he poured out all his pent-up yearnings into her…
