Lane discovers that not all wolves are savages as he was led to believe. When he develops a crush on his captors, he can’t help shifting to his human form and jumping into their bed. The sex is great, but Lane knows there's no future for a cat and two dogs. He returns to the vampire Colony, but his master has already replaced him, and his days are numbered.
