Amanda discovers that her new husband is none other than notorious playboy Samuel Pierce. Samuel Pierce also just happens to own the very agency, Merry Matrimony, that Amanda used to find her Perfect Match.
Samuel spanked Amanda raw on their wedding night and Amanda is surprised and a bit disturbed to realize she immensely enjoyed the punishment. With sexual tension brewing between them, the two newlyweds quickly find themselves butting heads. Being the brat that she is, Amanda purposely pushes Samuel's buttons, daring him to put her in her place.
Excerpt:
“You can’t leave,” he reminded me as if I didn't already know that.
“I can’t stay another minute locked in this room with you!” I said in frustration and continued towards the door anyway.
I was expecting him to muster up an apology to appease me. I couldn't go through the door but I was damn well going to threaten to until he apologized.
“Come here,” he ordered calmly. He hadn't moved an inch in his chair.
I reached for the lock, “No, we’re about to make headlines as the first married couple in decades to not make it through the honeymoon.”
He snorted loudly, “If you go through that door, I’ll have every man and woman in the building ready to restrain you and bring you back.”
“I seriously doubt they would do that for you. Who do you think you are?” My fingers touched the lock and I hesitated. I knew who he was already but now he had no choice but to outright come clean with it.
“I’m Samuel Pierce, I own this company and as of last night I own you. Now come here or I’m going to spank your ass, Brat.”
