Emerald Slade became a vampire after she is murdered. She is now starving for blood in her newly formed body, but she is hesitant to harm any of the few remaining humans left on Earth. The revelation that Joel and Gaelic’s maker is still alive and part of the governors comes as a complete shock, but the actions that follow this discovery threaten to break Em’s heart.
