When Brooke travels from Wisconsin to North Carolina for college, she learns to adjust from the male attention she initially receives. Thankfully Nate, a brotherly figure to his teammates but a ladies’ man to the rest of campus, steps in to save the day multiple times. As teammates at UNC Wilmington, Brooke and Nate create an unwavering friendship - or so everyone thinks.
