Kicking Ashe by Pauline Baird Jones, Ana Baird
Seems Time has a new hobby: kicking Ashe (and shame on It for doing it when she's down).

When you save Time's tush--or its version of one--it ought to cut you a break, not kick your tush some where and some when. Though boo yah on providing a hot guy in leather to pull said tush out of the impact crater that Ashe so did not make despite the somewhat damning evidence to the contrary.

So, the sitrep:
*She's stuck on primitive planet
*Time Tracker suit down
*Lurch (her nanite) unable to connect to any tech (see primitive above)
*Surrounded by a bunch of buccaneer types who haven't been around nubile young women cause it's against their law
*The one guy (Vidor Shan) she'd like to kiss on the mouth is off limits (time rule)
*Someone is gunning for Shan from somewhere in time
*And, oh yeah, some really strange meteorites are making landfall in some very strange ways.

Seems Time has a new hobby: kicking Ashe (and shame on It for doing it when she's down).

Not that she plans to stay down. Or give up the guy.

Vidor Shan just wants to find his brother and get off this crazy planet. The one thing he does NOT need complicating things is a woman who is a) alien; b) a woman; and c) an alien woman.

It's bad for her. It's bad for him.

And then she explains to him what bad really is...

A science fiction, time travel romance novel

I had completely planned to wrap up everything in my PROJECT ENTERPRISE series in STEAMROLLED. But when it turned into an uber-BAB (big a** book), I realized that Ashe and Vid's story would need to have their own book, so I meanly left them stranded at the end of STEAMROLLED. My punishment was that I had get them un-stranded. They did not make it easy for me. Or for themselves. Dang, those two had issues, but at least they didn't make me write a BAB to sort them all out.

I did have to make up a lot more science. There are those who don't like it when authors make up their science. That's fine with me. Different strokes for different folks. But if you don't mind made up science, unexplained time travel, mixed with whacky, and lots of tush-kicking of characters, then strap in.

Please note that this book is the end of my PROJECT ENTERPRISE series. While I tried to make each book standalone, I do believe your enjoyment is enhanced by having read the previous books. They are: THE KEY, GIRL GONE NOVA, TANGLED IN TIME (a novella), and STEAMROLLED. There are also two short stories set in my whacky universe that have been collected into PROJECT ENTERPRISE: THE SHORT STORIES.

I also wrote a time travel romance called OUT OF TIME, that is unrelated to any of my other novels, but won some awards and stuff and takes the reader on a wild ride to World War II.
And if you don't mind mixing up your reading with romantic suspense, or romantic comedy mystery, then consider checking out my LONESOME LAWMEN series: THE LAST ENEMY, BYTE ME, MISSING YOU and LONESOME MAMA (a bonus short story). And last (though they were actually first, THE SPY WHO KISSED ME and DO WAH DIDDY DIE.
