I hoped that I'd have more time to tell her, maybe break it to her gently, but that didn't happen. How can I explain to her that I told her as much as I could, but it just wasn't enough? The temptation of being able to see her, hold her hand and maybe kiss her as a human was too much at the time. Do I wish I could take it all back, and somehow deserve her love? Of course. But can I? There's not enough magic in the world to fix that.
And now the enchantress is back, causing more trouble. On top of that, a few people have showed up at our door that I never expected to see again, and Daphne's gone missing. I'm not sure how it could get worse.
