Lev, Briarberry Estate’s local werecat, has been charged with caring for an injured and scared cat found in town, except he has no idea what to do with her. He resorts to calling on fellow Den residents Aiden and Kedah to help, even though they’re each dealing with their own issues. However, it is only when this mysterious cat runs that they all truly understand the danger that has been unleashed upon the town. Max is out for blood, and it doesn’t matter to the vampire who ends up as his victim, as long as someone goes down.

Relationships within the Den will be tested, and it is only a matter of time before someone breaks. Who will go down first, and who will come out to fight another day? Only the Fates can answer that, and it’s going to be an answer that most aren’t going to like.
