When Aaron Petersheim, the eldest of the siblings, had married the woman of his dreams two years ago, he thought his life would be absolutely perfect. But now, he and his wife, Hannah, are finding that their various quirks are starting to annoy one another and they both have trouble resolving their differences.

To make matters worse, a strong disagreement arises over their aged horse which Hannah grew up with. He's now too old and in too much pain to continue moving at a decent pace, yet they can't afford to keep him and a new one. Considering the age and condition of the horse, he wouldn't be of much working use to anyone else either. Aaron knows what he must do to resolve this, but Hannah is vehemently against it.
