Amish Romance: Faith's Story by Rebekah Fisher
This new series is based on the 'Fruits of the Spirt' as outlined in Galations 5:22-23. (But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance...) and revolves around the Petersheim siblings. You'll get to know the Petersheims and their friends as each "fruit" is featured through each sibling's journey as they find love. This seventh book features Faith Petersheim's story and the "fruit" of faith.

A young man, Jake, who is new to the community buys the vacant farm near the Petersheims. The Petersheims are thrilled about having a new neighbor, and when Faith and her brother Daniel walk over to welcome the young man, they quickly learn that Jake has an English surname, and many in the community become somewhat wary, including Faith.

There's been a terrible drought in the area, and Jake is hesitant about planting his crop. Faith suggests that he come to a community meeting to pray for rain, as many farmers are suffering.

Faith develops feelings for the young man but is still uncertain about his background. However, she tries her best to encourage him to not give up hope. Despite the prayers of the community, the rain still fails to come, and now he has to face the fact that without any harvest to count on, he may have to sell his farm as it is pointless to plant his seed in the dry ground. Faith's steady beliefs clash with his fear over losing the farm, and there is conflict between them. Jake decides he must sell and go back to his old community, even though it means losing Faith, whom he has grown to love.

How will God intervene and use another situation to teach Jake about using his faith?
