When Josiah goes to visit Gabe before leaving for his summer at camp, he tells Gabe what he needs to hear but doesn’t know how much his former best friend will listen. Gabe seems set in his decision to not have any further contact with Sienna, but Josiah’s heart won’t let all hope be lost. Sienna is doing the same, and while she doesn’t see Gabe as the only person who can be an answer to her prayers, his phone call after six months of silence does make her wonder if he could have a change of heart.

Far removed from that situation, Michaela is wondering what her summer will hold as she begins her leadership role at Camp Laughing Water. All goes well during the first few weeks, including a pleasant friendship with one of the guy staff members. But is he the right one to explore something with beyond friendship, or is there someone better suited for her heart?
