Not one to believe in true love, Nimue puts her hope in her mother. But at the beginning of her quest, she ends up trapped on a ship full of humans going in the wrong direction. Forced to stay with them until they make it to land, Nimue finds herself drawn to Brandt, one of the humans.
Although True Love’s Kiss starts to look like a valid option as the mutual attraction between Brandt and Nimue grows, the strange cultural customs of these particular humans may make it impossible. True Love’s Kiss or not, Nimue has every intention of returning to the sea. But she may not get a kiss from Brandt without commitment.
Can Nimue convince Brandt to kiss her and free her Voice? And if she does succeed, will she be willing to pay the price?
