Mane Perfection by Kay Stewart
The Milwaukee Manes is a professional hockey team with nothing but eligible hunks! Join me along the journey of love for these men who have no idea what's coming.

What happens when a woman’s brashness and beauty has been turning heads her whole life finds a man who turns hers?

Amy Fallon has spent her entire life worshipping hockey. Whether it was hockey on the lake in her hometown, watching her brothers play, or winning a gold medal herself, hockey has been her sole focus for as long as she can remember. Now, she has been given the chance of a lifetime to share her hockey brain with a professional hockey team. Much to her enjoyment, hockey players seem to have trouble comprehending that a woman is blind to their particular hunkiness and can see the ice better than they can.

Jensen Hall is known as the resident good time guy on the Milwaukee Manes and that’s just how he likes it. He has never been a man who’s after more than the now, but that all changes the moment he meets the firecracker of a woman who thrives on putting him in his place both on and off the ice. Jensen likes order and his independence is of utmost importance to him. What shocks him is that Amy is everything he has ever steered clear of, yet he can’t stop thinking about her when she isn’t around.

Hockey might be Amy’s sole focus, but it doesn’t define who she is as a person. Jensen sees her better than she gives him credit for even if he’s putting on a show to dissuade her from wanting him. Jensen’s too old, too grizzly, and far too snippy for Amy’s taste. Unfortunately, his candor matches hers with a fierceness she can’t ignore and will stop at nothing to get what she wants.

Although this book can be read as a stand-alone novel, I recommend reading the books of the "Milwaukee Manes" series in order so that you can fall in love with the characters from the very beginning.
