Zach Yoder struggles to juggle working his father's farm with calling on Karen King, all the while trying to keep his budding courtship secret from his curious sister, Mattie. Barbara Riehl's brother, Stephen, insists upon meeting with her about the future of their father's farm, something Barbara would like to avoid especially when she learns that her snooty sister-in-law will be present. Elizabeth Yoder tries to temper her daughter, Lena's desire to work with horses instead of doing her chores. And Martha Stoltzfus notices some interesting changes in the behavior of her two older sons, Micah and Titus.
