I’m a full-time executive assistant. I’m a (secret) romance author. But I’m not a wedding planner. So when my boss suddenly adds planning his wedding to my to-do list, I’m not prepared or happy about it. As if I have time to plan a wedding on top of everything else?

When I visit the wedding venue they’ve chosen, I’m also not prepared for Arthur Wright. He’s the events manager and the person I’ll be working closely with. And he’s too kind, funny and hot for my own good.

Things get even hotter when we end up snowed in together at the honeymoon cottage.

After that night, okay maybe after the second night, we both agree that things can’t possibly work between us. With me living in Denver and him four hours away in Ever Lake, it’s not going to happen. But that doesn’t stop us from staying friendly. Truthfully, probably too friendly.

When the timeline of my boss’s wedding is pushed up, our circumstances temporarily change and I end up staying with Art up until the wedding.

Life feels like it can’t get any better, but it’s not real life. There’s an end date to this fantasy.

And I’m in the business of writing fantasies…not living them.
