A Tiger's Love by C.G. Rayne
Maxim Clarke is a mess.

Over a year after he and his allies launched their rescue operation at the lion shifters’ Amarillo compound and the loss of his mate-to-be, the Alpha tiger shifter moves through life weighed down by grief and the guilt of the tragedy of that day. Even keeping his tiger soul in check has become a problem. What keeps him sane is running his club, covertly gathering intel on the lion clans, and his ongoing quest in helping Logan find his missing parents.

When his information network reveals that the lions have found a promising lead that could point them to the hidden Polyshifter clan of Logan’s mother, Grace, despite Maxim’s misgivings, Logan and Hunter immediately head for London in search of a shifter from Grace’s past that may be able to deliver a warning to her clan.

Then one week of no contact becomes two, and fearing the worst, Maxim hunts the streets of London where he learns his missing friends may have accidentally gotten caught up in something more dangerous than catching the attention of a Sniffer. He can’t afford to get distracted, and yet, when Theo, an enigmatic and fierce Omega, unexpectedly enters the equation, Maxim’s body and heart slowly begin to yearn for things he feels he no longer deserves.

Maxim shouldn’t want to smile and laugh and feel alive again within the warmth of a beloved’s arms. Especially when the lives of his loved ones are once again teetering so horribly on a knife’s edge. Especially when his heart still bleeds with a wound that will likely bleed forever.

This is a steamy, M/M paranormal romance thriller featuring a bisexual hero and hurt/comfort themes in an A/B/O universe. Although mpreg can happen, it’s an extremely rare event and does not occur in this book. Each book in the series features a different couple, though all books are narratively connected, have a HEA or HFN conclusion, and should be read in order.
