Snow Much Trouble by Melissa Williams
In the spirit of the holiday, I make deal with a silent knight.

Spending Christmas in a small town was supposed to be a family event. Instead, I’m all alone with my murderous thoughts. Which I guess is a good thing since my next murder mystery book is due to my editor and I have zero ideas. Then walks in Davis Laidlaw—literally scaring the Christmas cookies out of me.

He’s a big, brooding package of scowling deliciousness…and the jolt of inspiration I was looking for. Until he opens his mouth and tells me I’m trespassing. I’ve rented this house for the holidays…but it looks like there’s been a huge mix-up (or matchmaking attempt by his mother). So we make a deal. I can stay, as long as I keep quiet and out of his way.

Easier promised then done. There’s something about Davis that draws me in. It’s going to take a lot more than strategically placed mistletoe to get Davis to fall for my charms…but I’m up for a little holiday hijinks.
