That’s why I let my friend pick out a guy for me on our girls’ weekend.

She picks the nerdiest guy in the club, a tall lanky guy whose clothes don’t fit right, who doesn’t know how to comb his hair, but he does make me laugh. And he treats me better than anyone I’ve ever known.

So when he invites me to accompany him to his sister’s wedding the following day, I indulge myself and say yes.

I’m about to make my escape when she walks in, a blonde goddess who is way out of my league. But her friend introduces us, and I’m immediately smitten. No one is as shocked as me when she agrees to come with my sister’s wedding. I admit I have an ulterior motive. My ex will be there, and I want her to see I’m not the sad loser she thinks I am.

I don’t expect to actually have fun with her. And since we only have this one night… we decide to make the most of it.

I’ve never known anyone like her, and it’s going to kill me when she leaves town at the end of the weekend. But I’m not sure how to make her stay.
