The Presidential Proposal by Windsor Rowse
Billionaire James Sterling has a problem. He needs a wife…quickly. James doesn’t actually want a wife, but he is planning to announce his candidacy for President of the United States soon. His team has explained to him in no uncertain terms that America does not want a bachelor President. They want a First Lady. The campaign is kicking off soon. Really soon. The clock is ticking. James’ efforts to find a First Lady are not going well. It’s not that James can’t find a woman. Most women would jump at the chance to date him. He can’t find the right woman, and he doesn’t have time to waste dating the wrong women. James has found that there are few problems that money can’t solve, and this problem is no different. Instead of wasting time dating, he decides to think of his wife problem like a businessman. He’s looking for a business partner, maybe a friend, definitely a lover, but not a soul mate. When he meets kindergarten teacher Elizabeth Collins, he decides she’s the answer to his problems. He proposes a mutually beneficial arrangement - a marriage contract. She’ll have money beyond anything she can imagine, fame, great sex, adventure, and a chance to change the world, but he cannot give her love or children. It must be all business. No feelings. At least that’s the plan.
