Thirty Day Roommate by J.S. Cooper
A grumpy sunshine enemies to lovers romance... Ridiculously single graduate art student Harriet Campbell is having the worst week. She’s just been fired from her job at the coffee shop for being rude to an obnoxious customer. But as far as she was concerned, he was the rude one. Her eclectic parents have announced they are getting a divorce. And it’s all the fault of a three-legged golden retriever. To top it off, the house she shares with three friends is being sold, and she has three weeks to find a new place to live, which is hard to do when you’re broke. When she sees a job for a live-in housekeeper, she decides to go for it. Even though she hates cleaning, can’t boil an egg, and knows next to nothing about hosting parties for “very important people.” The interview goes horribly, but then she sees a familiar face, Finn Joseph—the grumpy man who got her fired from the coffee shop. Turns out he would be her new boss so she guilts him into giving her a trial basis, even though she’d rather work for anyone other than him. Just as she starts her new job, Harriet finds out she’s on the shortlist for receiving a prestigious art fellowship. The only problem is that she’d have to volunteer for a kids’ art project on Fridays—sometimes from her home. She’s unsure how to manage everything, but she knows she must make it happen even if Finn seems to watch her every move keenly, night and day. Even though she finds him to be an arrogant, pompous know-it-all, she still can’t help but be dazzled by his aquamarine eyes and their accidental late-night run-ins. It might not be the life she envisioned, but she’s surely going to make the most of it.
