For amoral art historian Percy Ashdown, stealing a haunted painting during an out-of-season Halloween party is par for the course—more or less. But matters become a little more complicated when sexy boyfriend/morally-conflicted priest, Joe Bruno, tags along.

Percy may have managed to convince Joe that confiscating the murderous painting from its psychopathic owner was a good deed, but when faced with the realities of pulling off such a dangerous mission, Joe’s resolve begins to waver. And so does Percy’s patience.

With Joe making such galling suggestions as ‘just burn the haunted painting,’ and ‘don’t kill people,’ Percy struggles to keep his frustrations under wraps, despite the fact he could eat Joe alive in those leather pants.

Meanwhile, Joe finds himself flummoxed every step of the way at Percy’s ‘professional methods’, and even if he is constantly turned on by Percy’s choice of Halloween costume, both begin to wonder if their new ‘partners in crime’ arrangement has any chance of working.

When the two come face to face with the object of horror, their relationship will be put to a fatal test. Can Percy and Joe find a way to work together to cheat death? Or will their innate differences be their final undoing?
