What starts off as a simple homicide case, however, quickly morphs into something bigger, something darker, something that could get someone seriously hurt—or worse.

A murder, a little girl’s kidnapping, a convoluted business venture… If Kate and her team can’t wrap up this case quickly, she fears it’s only going to get worse before it gets better.
