Love thy neighbor, that’s what the good book says. But it’s hard to love your neighbor when he is loud and annoying. Don’t even get me started with that dog of his. To make matters worse, he looks like a paper cut out in a sports magazine. When I talk to him, I feel butterflies flutter in my stomach, see he disrupts my peace. I miss the days when my neighborhood was peaceful and quiet.

There are days I want to say hi, but how can I when she walks past me like I don’t exist. It’s like a broom stick is permanently shoved up her– I have children now I can’t use the words I want to use. Maybe one day I will find peace in this new neighborhood.
