Silas's undesirable physical features have prevented him from ever pursuing a woman romantically. Desperately lonely, he decides to pay for a three month long live-in companion. He can't possibly pursue the physical side of the deal-he can't imagine any woman wouldn't be sickened by the thought of going to bed with him.
