I always thought I'd be forced to settle for this half-life. Saddled with a telepathic ability I don't want and stuck in a town I can't escape. Then I met Holden, and more than music to live for.
Now on an elite enforcement team, maybe I can actually change the game. But first, my team and I need to prove we can handle anything the Enhanced throw at us. Considering we go together like oil and water, it ought to be a piece of cake.
So of course I get us tangled in the middle of a treacherous web that no one knows is there. If I can't find the threads, tell fact from fiction, my first investigation will be my last.
