When I find out I’ve been selected for the Starlight Lottery, I’m sure my luck is finally changing for the better. Until I’m sent to an ocean planet… as an alien Kraken king’s freaking pet. Sure, he’s nice to look at, all muscley human on top and squiggly tentacles on bottom, but I’ve never been more bored in my entire life. Or as lonely.
It isn’t until I find the stowaway in my luggage — a single, sentient tentacle that decided to hitch a ride from my old job— that the Kraken even realizes not only am I not a pet, but I’m also intelligent.
When he figures out that I’m a female? Well, let’s just say maybe I am about to get lucky after all.
